PocketAid Hearing Aid Simulator Featured on Nine News

The Hearing Aid Simulator, developed by PocketAid, was recently featured on Nine Gold Coast News. This innovative online tool enables individuals to experience the benefits of hearing aids from the comfort of their homes.

The simulator offers 12 real-world scenarios, such as family conversations and watching television, to demonstrate how hearing assistance can improve daily life. Users can input their own hearing test results or select from preset levels of hearing loss (mild, moderate, or severe) to personalise the simulation.

Phillip Victor, who struggles to hear in social settings, tested the simulator and noted a significant improvement in his experience. Another user, Carey Parsons, appreciated the privacy and flexibility of the at-home assessment, stating there was “absolutely no pressure at all.”

PocketAid’s CEO, Don Hudson, highlighted the simulator’s accessibility, emphasising that it allows users to explore hearing solutions at their own pace without the need for clinic visits.
